That's right folks epic early powder skiing is about to be had by the lucky few who either live in Fernie or make it a priority to get to Fernie this weekend. The resort just announced this morning that the skiing is just so good, they have to share it! With over 130 cm base they are pleased to be opening most of the "old side" with powder skiing in the Lizard and Cedar Bowls and groomers on North Ridge, Bear and the lower mountain. The weather forecast is calling for clear skies and sunshine as well!
So what are you waiting for.....get on down to Fernie.....see you on the slopes!
