A nice little snow fall was a welcome sight this week offering 13 cm of fresh snow. It's still snowing and the bombing woke me up this morning - the tell tale sign of more snow on the mountain with the ski patrol doing avalanche control! Its an exciting day for all Canadians but especially us British Colombians with the Olympics starting tonight. And of course we have our own Fernie hopeful - Emily Brydon. If you are coming to Fernie this weekend there is an opportunity to show your support for Emily on national television. ON Sunday Feb 14 (Emily's first race day) Canada AM will be at FAR Slopeside Deli broadcasting live at 6:15 am and then again at 9:15 am and they want the place packed!
