Well the one down fall to a good snow year is the early season bike rides happen outside of Fernie. However, only 20 minutes away there are some amazing places to get those legs in shape and enjoy an amazing setting. Chuck, Heidi and I rode around MT. Broadwood on Saturday, a 40+km ride with tons of wildlife and views.

Well it s been an absolutely beautiful week of blue skies and epic skiing. With a base well over 3 meters guests have been getting a light tan while enjoying mid winter conditions. Town is hoping with fun in town at all of Fernie s restaurants and bars. The bright and sunny days combined with awesome snow has skiers, snowboarders, snowmobilers, snow shoers and all winter enthusiasts grinning ear to ear.
